THE ROLE OF HISTORICAL-CULTURAL HERITAGE IN THE PERSONALITY’S FORMATION

Abstract.
The article deals with the problem referring to "the traditional values of Russian society", which are
perceived important integrating and raising factor. The characteristic of just one of the aspects of traditional value sys-
tems, historical and cultural heritage, which is a part of the socio-cultural environment of the region, with the potential
for the region’s development and human capital. The article examines the effectiveness of the implementation potential
of historical-cultural heritage in the Kurgan region. The notion "objects of historical-cultural heritage" is clarified and
their contents according to local laws. The key issues associated with the use of objects of historical and cultural heri-
tage in the region are regarded. The conclusion about the lack of effective inclusion of objects of historical and cultural
heritage in socio-cultural infrastructure is made. The authors believe that the indicators of the effective use of objects of
